Seek Apprenticeship

Next, look for a certified technician to provide your apprenticeship program. This will let you hone your skills and get you more contact hours. An apprenticeship is an unpaid program, but you can ask for tips and have the technician charge clients with an apprenticeship fee.

Getting Certified to be a Microblading Artist

Before the certification exam, take a Bloodborne Pathogens Standard course. This costs around $25 dollars an hour.

Now that you are ready, join a certification organization to take an exam. The American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM) is more popular in the US while The Society of Pigment Professionals (SPCP) is widely known abroad. You can choose either one. It costs $250 per exam.
