When it comes to your face, eyebrows are everything! Treatments and procedures have advanced incredibly in recent years. It is no longer necessary to paint eyebrows on every morning nor deal with any time-consuming, costly process. You have likely heard of microblading already but have you heard of microblading’s younger sister, microshading and powdery eyebrows? All three techniques provide the look of a defined eyebrow without the hassle of makeup.
The microblading technique employs the use of a super fine pen made up of 12-15 needles to deposit pigment into uppermost skin layers, creating tiny hairstrokes that are very natural-looking. These do not go as deep as traditional cosmetic tattoos and are therefore semi-permanent. Although it can be mildly painful, artists are able to numb the area beforehand, making the experience less unpleasant.
Microshading is a technique that uses a stippling method to apply multiple dots of pigment into skin, resembling eyebrow powder (microshading is also referred to as powdery brows). Microshading employs the use of a hand tool (electric or manual). The immediate results are a bit harsh but after a weeks’ time, the block of color fades away, revealing a softer, fuller looking arch. The results are more subtle than microblading and equally stunning.
Some people prefer to use a combination of microblading and microshading in order to achieve the look they desire. This can also be a better choice for those with sensitive skin. Although touch-ups and maintenance are required for both techniques, results can last up to 2-3 years if treated properly. That makes both methods semi permanent, affordable, and long-lasting. The days of penciling in eyebrows and then worrying about smudging all day are long gone. Microblading and microshading are innovative techniques that provide effective, attractive options for improving your appearance without breaking the bank.
Microblading and microshading have become incredibly popular beauty methods. Men and women alike are seeking ways to improve their appearance in a subtle way that requires little to no daily time and maintenance. Everyone is looking to save time these days, creating the perfect opportunity to capitalize. If you are considering permanent makeup training or microblading training, there is no time like the present to get started! Microblading classes are a great way to begin or expand your beauty treatment portfolio. You are bound to have a full appointment book.
