OM SPA has full transparency of conducting our business. We strive to give our customers as much attention and comfort as we can, provide them with the highest quality services, supply and complete information’s. For your best experience, we adhere to certain policies to benefit our valued guests and estheticians, permanent make-up artists and affiliates. Please feel free to communicate with our staff at any time when you have questions or suggestions on how we can improve your experience at Om Spa even more.
Appointments /Reservations
By booking on line or over the phone or in person, you automatically agree to accept OM Spa Polices.
If you wish to book outside of regular Om Spa business hours, please let us know in advance and we will try our best to accommodate you.
For your best experience with OM SPA, your safety and treatment’s best results, please, check all pre-care/preparation and after care, that apply to all services you are going to have done BEFORE scheduling and making payment, as well as Om Spa Policy, since the deposit is nonrefundable., and for other payments cancellation or rescheduling fee will apply.
In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointments as far in advance as possible to ensure availability.
To accommodate your desired appointment, we will ask you to pay a nonrefundable deposit or provide credit card information, to guarantee your reservation (for the credit cards payments we use third party service of Stripe and Paypal). Deposit can be paid over the phone or in person.
All appointments that are not confirmed with deposit will be putted on waiting list out of schedule until deposit will be satisfied.
Om SPA reserve rights to reject/or to stop any service, at any time, for any reason if we believe, that client is not a good candidate. Also we reserve rights do not perform any cosmetic tattoo services to all clients without valid state ID, which is mandatory of Illinois State of Health Department; you still be responsible for charge of 50% of total amount of the service price.
Sales, Credit Cards, Payment Options:
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE POLICY ON ALL SERVICES, GIFT CARDS, RETAIL.
OM SPA STATES NO MONEY REFUND due to the nature of cosmetic tattooing risk factors involve as well, as other beautifying services facts, that involves work with human body:
-that it is in client responsibility to follow up all pre and after service care instructions,
-client actively participate before and trough entire his/her procedure,
-that everybody reaction is very unique and unpredictable.
Consultations:
A consultation is STRONGLY recommended if you are not quite sure about your needs and treatment plan. At your consultation, your facial features, skin, hair will be analyzed and suggestions will be made for best service option, price, time etc. based on your expectations, current medical/skin/hair condition and personal goals. The consultation time is the ideal moment to ask all questions and get all answers. We provide consultation in person, over the phone or Skype.
For all services a consultation is integrated part of every appointment, including your all follow ups but if you wish having additional consultation, than we offer:
– Free15 minutes general consultation to disuse your best treatments options.
– in depth 30 min consultation for $75, where actual design will be pre-drown on your face or actual skin analysis- mini treatment and interview will be performed; a color patch test might be performed as a part of this consultation prior to all cosmetic tattoo services only upon client request.
Follow ups
We suggest you to schedule your follow up be within 7 -14 days (not longer than 30 days) for SMP/scalp Micropigmentation and for other cosmetic tattoo services 4 to 8 weeks apart after the initial procedure. In the event of a life situation or actual health condition, that will result in the failure to return to the follow up sessions within up to next 3 months, you will be asked for additional fee for the implementation of new service; no exceptions.
Follow up visits is created for small work to complete: adding missing pigments /strokes, adjusting color temperature (cool down or warm up). They are not designed for major changes within already created design: shape, size/thickness or color. If you change your mind, you can always upgrade for a new design (if still possible) for additional charge based on amount work estimated individually.
Check-in, late Arrival and No Show
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
Your late arrival will limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be guaranteed extension of scheduled treatment’s time. Treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment time and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.
All guests entering the Spa MUST be 18 years of age or older, except for skin care services; all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian since besides Spa we are licensed Cosmetic Tattoo parlor,
– NO inside of treatment room Food/Drinks
– NO Drugs/Alcohol/Smoking
– NO Pets
-NO OBSERVERS/COMPANION in the procedure room except a law regulation.
Treatments Time Frame, Sessions, Pricing
Due to the nature of a cosmetic tattoo, which is an art, not a science and the following factors?
– It requires several sessions to be performed at appropriate intervals, which are necessary for the process of healing of the epidermis,
– Individual and unpredictable body reactions of each client to the tattooing process,
– His / her personal requirements for the complexity of the tattoo design: shape, color, density, etc,
– type of skin, hair, current state of health, lifestyle, medications/food supplements, metabolism and other unforeseen reactions of the body tattooing, it is impossible to accurately estimate how much time each session will take for a particular case, the numbers of sessions and the final time of completion of the scheduled service. All this is usually discussed during the consultation or at the time of booking appointment.
We try to make our prices as accurate as possible, however, every case of cosmetic tattoo is treated individually; it depends on the difficulty and the level of advancement of the project. Each customer receives a pre estimated procedure plan and choice of making payment or an hourly rate, or as a one-time payment for the entire procedure (with a pre-estimated amount of time and number of sessions included).This does not mean, however, that the procedure will definitely take as long as it was calculated. At pre-paid option for all cosmetic tattoo services, especially SMP, prices and time are estimated the way, that client does not have to worry and anticipate, how many hours/time will be needed to complete his service; this is initially estimated on average. Thanks to the prepayment, the customer gets an attractive discount for the fact of making a one-off payment in advance. If the artist needs to spend more time or session to complete the service, it is already included in the price agreed with the client. If the procedure goes smoothly and efficiently and will take less time than the amount agreed at the beginning, the price of the service still remains the same. This is an extremely advantageous option, which is chosen by the majority of our clients, because in the case of larger projects, hourly rates might go much higher.
Prices for all services and retail are conventional; hourly rates and prices for pre-paid service can always be changed without prior notice.
Cancellation Policies and Fees:
We value your business and ask that you respect the Spas scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance?
Any cancellations with less than 48 business hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service.
No show appointments will be charged in full price for the scheduled service; no exception.
We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason.
WE ACCEPT all major credit cards, cash and only Om Spa gift certificates. No medical credit card is accepted.
YOU MUST BE A CARD HOLDER TO BE ABLE TO MAKE ANY PAYMENT.
In a case of a credit card being used by a third party (for instance a spouse, child, a financing company etc., transaction made over the phone or on line) Om SPA will process payment without id’s verification and the cardholder is responsible for all charges and/or cancellation, refunds fees according to the transaction made by a third party.
If this scenario could be an issue, resulting cancelation of booked appointment, we suggest you to purchase a gift certificate for desired amount or service.
IF you booked and pay already for your appointment via Paypal, but wish to cancel and have your money refund, PLEASE CALL US or EMAIL @[email protected]; don’t dispute transaction! We ‘will gladly refund your Paypal payment in full as long as it is in line with Om Spa Policy.
Gift Certificates:
Our best reward is your personal recommendation of OM Spa to your friends, family and co-workers.
Gift Certificates are available in any amount and may be purchased at the Spa, on our website www.omspachicago.com or by phone
at 773-853 0839. Gratuity is not included in the price of service or spa packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion.
Lost Items/Personal Items:
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. OM Spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items. We regretfully cannot be responsible for any loss, theft or accidental damage to your personal belongings so please take extra caution to prevent any such occurrence. Please do not wear your best clothing for the appointment, as we are working with pigments and clothing can be stained.
